Yep, Bella is the Nigerian Dwarf goat....due to kid in April, hoping for twin girls so that I can keep one to continue with Bella and another female for milking and making home made cheeses.... and then the other female will go to a couple in Central Calif who really want a Nigerian Dwarf also for milking.
I hope my Gouldians settle in and are comfortable to nest successfully.
That is actually a horse in my neighbors yard. They out one lone stall right there up against the fence line and out in the rain to be able to train this young horse. Granted the stalls and buildings are all supposed to be 4 feet away from the fence line so it's not such an intrusion on the neighbors.....we made sure everything was within the right distance.....but I don't really care....if that's the harshest little 'rule' the city comes up with....so be it. Considering my front and back lawns are all dead and look TERRIBLE.....I'd rather not have that thought process of the planned community and the association nightmares.
Luckily those neighbors really liked the privacy fence I put in and they want to add more and go all the way down the property line....to which we said SURE, that would be cool.....gives them privacy and me too....AND best yet, I won't have to look at the horrendous mess in their yard. It's nice that they are very recycling savvy, but they don't manage to ever get the cans into a receptacle....they are piled up in heaps in various places in the yard and then the wind is so bad that it blows them all over and up against the fence and of course into my yard....and if I have to pick up after someone else....it will NOT be a pleasant thing, so they find things flung back into their yard on a constant basis :)
