Sounds like the Muscovies would be the best for us; quieter than the other types.

Unfortunately, we have a Siberian Husky; known to be bird dogs. Do you think after the ducks get a bit larger, the dog would accept them? Otherwise, I'd need to leave them penned in the old pig gated area. Would I need to also add a wire cage around the area to keep them inside, an aviary-like environment? Or if I kept their wings clipped, would I have to worry about them getting out of the area?

So many questions. Thanks for your advice and help.
