Subject: (JIM) 2nd cracked egg

Well, the first chick didnt make it as you know... the second egg that was cracked very less severely, kind of like pushed in a bit (like if you pushed two eggs against each other a little too hard)...anyhow
It pipped almost 48 hours ago... I checked on it every few hours and could hear the chick pecking and peeping and he was not getting anywhere despite all his hard work..I carefully cut slowly from the pip around the egg enough to see inside, sure enough he was trapped in the membrane only his beak was sticking out and the it looked like he was shrink wrapped in it...to make a long story short I got him out and hes doing fabulous now walking, eating the whole nine...so my story has a happy ending after all :)
