That's a GREAT question. My parents talked about planning their trip to Portugal because my dad wants to see his parents old house and town on the Azore Islands and then while there, empty out the bank account he has and just spend it all on the trip. They were supposed to do that this year, but as always...one thing after another, so hopefully next year. They are hoping to just do a one way flight to Portugal and then spend the money in the account on all the hotels and cars and flights, that way they can go to the mainland and see Lisbon and travel through Spain as well. They have high hopes of seeing London before coming home, so we'll see what they are able to come up with.
Now if all that falls through, then I am sure to convince my dad to go because he could golf and then simply head on up to Massachusetts to visit family, etc.....perfect excuse to go.
