So are you getting any Lady Amherst? I didn't see them in the list but I love the colors on those.
I envy your friend on his doves, I have always wanted bleeding heart doves and green wings. I would totally dig on getting a pair of Australian crested, might have a local lead on those.....as for Voctorias....I will ask around through the American Dove Association. I have seen those Crowned Pigeons up close, they are something!
OH I know, see if he can look up Lynn Hall in Camarillo, California. In the meantime I will try and get the email contact for a girl who cares for Lynn's aviaries as he is always busy giving talks and seminars and traveling for bird clubs and zoos, and recently lost his wife....he had a very hard year last year.....Lynn does have the Crowned Pigeons, and when those things coo....they sound like a loud heart beat thumping, it's very awe inspiring to see and hear in person.
