I can understand how the dogs may become desensitized after a while since our Chow Chow (she passed away a couple of years ago) got along after a while with our pig. They became "best buds" after a while.

I just thought that when we can't be watching them, they would have a safe place inside the run. We can probably fix the run up with screen and keep their wings clipped. I've been thinking of fixing up an aviary on that side of the house anyway.
