Well they are still trying to get this mess under control.
Once again, lowe man on the totem pole came to the rescue as NO ONE in my department or any other knew how to setup two particular systems and the county decided that we'd setup an emergency office this past weekend to be able to begin issuing disaster benefits....well I came to the rescue and offered to come in on my flex friday and gather up all the equipment needed and then go to the chosen office and set it all up for our staff that was working the weekend.
It went perfectly, all systems tested successfully and the staff still asked me to come in on Saturday and just sit with them to make sure all went well, and again I did....and luckily this was a 'high profile' project and all executive eyes were on me to make them look good, and I did once again with flying colors.....so FINALLY I am going to get the promotion I was promised 3 years ago!
HAHAHAHAHA better late than never though.
Other than that, just trying to go day to day here.....not much going on except that I WILL be getting my hands on more Emu eggs to hatch .... but that's all the hatching I will be doing....the Silkie keeps setting her own eggs, so there's a batch under her. The doves and finches just do their own things, so they are left alone and so far everyone is fine.
