No, you didn't chase me off.....I hate to admit this.....but I actually got SO wrapped up in volunteering with the Greyhound rescue/adoption and trying to get all new poultry started for this year and really see if I can make it work....that I had forgotten about our BQ board....ouch....and last night late, I woke up out of a dead sleep and thought: OMG BQ101, I haven't been on there in almost a couple months!!
As for manzanita, not sure if there's anything around me...we have TONS of eucalyptus, I use that for the poultry, but it's not a good wood for any of the chewing birds, I think the acidity is just too much.
