I just wanted to tell you that I miss those of you I haven't seen in awhile! I got my rafting pictures back but haven't been able to get them to work on my computer (I have a Wal*Mart cd, but it's crazy fo real...) but i do have printed copies. I keep forgetting to bring them to youth group, but someday I will!!!

I think it would be cool if we would do something to help with Operation Christmas Child. Some things we could do would be filling boxes, checking boxes, or delivering the boxes. There are other ways to help too. Let me know if this sounds like a good idea to you.

Hi Everyone,

Well, I was really nervous at first but I got over It. I Saw Michelle Colin, and she introduced me to her friend who is in two of my classes. and I didn�t get lost or anything. I had a great day. My first class was Spanish. The teacher, Mr. Hillegonds, as really good, but we already got homework. Then I had CP English 9, which I love the teacher, Mrs. Fassbender, she was really funny. We got to interview people. I interviewed a girl named Emily. She was really nice, and she is also in my Spanish class. Then I had speech. The teacher, Mrs. Peet, was good. I sat by this girl who was an exchange student from Japan. We interviewed people in that class too. I interviewed the girl from Japan. She spoke English OK but she had to ask me what some words meant. It was really fun to meat an exchange student. Then I had CP biology. The teacher, Mr. Perry, was very boring, but we do get to dissect at the end of the year. Yes!! I met one girl in that class, whose name was Sarah. After that I sat with Sarah for lunch. The Cafeteria is crazy. I had CP Geometry next. I really liked that teacher, Mr. Lancaster, especially because he was a Michigan Fan. I think I am going to hate the Geometry part. After that we had choir. I really like the choir teacher. That is the only class where I actually knew someone which was nice. My overall experience was great! I liked the teachers, but the classes will be challenging. There were also some very interesting people there to so it was kind of fun to see all the different styles of people. Ypsi is a great school, especially because there is no dresscode. The only not so good thing is that the I.D's have to be visible, but highschool is great. See you guys on Wednesday!!

IYC -- Todd Miller, 13:00:02 08/25/05 Thu [1]

This is what we decided to do this Sunday in church to share about IYC. Everyone who is available for both services. Wear you IYC t-shirts, be at church by 9:00am, we will eat doughnuts and drink coffee in between services. We will prepare 4 0r 5 slides to show on the screen while we are sharing. We will all be up front and I need one volunteer to spend 1-2 minutes just summarizing the week (excursions, serve colorado, mainstage/Frances Chan, etc.) any takers? Then we will all think through a minute response to the following questions...how did the week impact you? what changes are you making to go Further in your walk with God and with each other in the group? Everyone who wants to respond to these questions will get a chance, but you don't have to if you are uncomfortable doing so. We will have a cordless mike to pass around. How's that sound? hey guys, computers pretty much dead so i think were getting a new one. ill let you know when that happens but for now ill be at my moms work a lot to finish up my english summer work.

I talked to Mrs. Litton about helping with Operation Jumpstart 2005. It is an outdoor festival with games, entertainment, food, prizes, and opportunities for prayer adn culminating in he distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies. Our church is sponsoring an activity booth. We have an oppertunity to help with this. It is on Saturday, August 13th from 10:00-2:00, at Montbellier Park. (Ellsworth Road, near Carpenter Road) I thought this would be a fun survice project. So if anyone is interested you can contact me by email, phone, 485-5714. She needs as many people as she can get. So I hope you can do it. She would love to have us help.
