Subject: Miss Ability Pageant 2007

I would like to invite EVERYONE to the “FEEL GOOD” pageant of the year! Miss Ability 2007!

The Miss Ability Pageant recognizes young women in the North Central West Virginia and Southwestern Pennsylvania area and helps them to realize their talents and “abilities”. The first annual Miss Ability Pageant was held May 21, 2005 for young ladies that suffer from a disability with the hope to improve their self-confidence and teach them about the importance of goal setting. This pageant was the brainchild of organizer Dea Simpson. (Miss Mon Valley 2007)

On May 19th at South Middle School in Morgantown, WV at 7:00 pm ~ I would like to see the auditorium filled with people supporting these amazing young ladies. Each of us is so very blessed with loved ones that attend every concert, ballgame and activity that we become involved in. I would love to be backstage with these young ladies and watch them pull the curtains aside and gasp in wonderment at the amount of people that have come to cheer them on. To have them bask in the applause and admiration that our children get all of the time.

On that evening there will be a Little Miss (5-11), Junior Miss (12-19) and a Miss Ability (20 & up) pageant. The older two groups will have a personal interview earlier in the day and we will see all of them in an opening number, their formal wear as well as enjoy their onstage interview. And we will delight to many of their optional talent performances!

All will walk away with trophies and crowns but we will have three final titleholders! I guarantee by the end of the night that YOU will walk away the winner and feel better than you have in months!

Come on West Virginia- This is what pageantry SHOULD be about!!!!! Good times, people helping each other and FUN! I hope to see you there!!!!
