I don't work at the REC anymore. I quit sometime in July.I worked there about 3 years. However, I agree with just about all the complaints you guys are posting. I haven't gotten to read all of them since there are quite a bit!

Getting a red mark for leaving 30 minutes early...it's ridiculous. Having supervisors yelling out this and that over the PA system...almost ridiculous. Personally, I don't feel there is a need to yell out blue log on, yellow log off..etc. They can log you off themselves.

I never personally had a problem with any supervisor but Veronica. Perhaps I had trouble reading her personality because it seems to be the same at all times. One day she had me come up to sign edits that were over a course of 3 months or so. Of course we had switched supervisors and she was appointed to our crew. I can understand her frustration of having to clean up for the supervisor before her. Anyway, I was having a HORRIBLE day. No, she didn't know that. She didn't need to. She's not my counselor. She's not even a friend. She asked me to get up 3 different times to sign edits. Each time she asked me, "What's wrong with you?" It truly pissed me off. The last time I came up to sign an edit, she said, "Now you HAVE to tell me what's wrong with you." She then proceeded to tell me that if my accuracy rate gets below 98% (I think that's it...) then I could be terminated. I know this. I worked there long enough to know this. I just couldn't ever tell if she had a bad attitude or not.

Another thing...every TE should be issued a handbook explaining what our rights are. Everyone has something different to say about every situation. TE's don't have the same rights as PTF's or Careers. If we could look it up for ourselves, it would be great. Since I no longer work there...it would be great for you guys that DO still work there.

Also, about striking. When you get sworn in, you swear not to strike. Pay attention to the little things they DO directly tell us.
