i'm am very excited to find this board. Thanks. I'm just beginning to sew pageant wear for my daughter and granddaughter. its so much fun. I've made a christmas wear for my 18 month old granddaughter and she won outfit of chose competition. I want to make more and would like to sell some things. How do you decide about pricing and where is the best place to advertise what you have to sell?

The clothes should be prices by what they are worth ie... how much the materials cost and how much time you put into it. I don't think people should charge $100.00 for an outfit just because thats how much they saw one on ebay for. If you do quality work and use quality materials you should get paid what your item is worth. The message boards are good to advertise on and I think pictures help alot. Ebay is good and so is pageantworld.net . They are also good places to compare prices. You can usually tell the good from the bad by photos.... Hope this helps
