.....I was at the Woodlands aged 16 in 1965 for 3 weeks, it was hard , you had to be tough to survive, six of the best with the cane on the backside was the punishment...up early, work all day cleaning the whole house or in the kitchen or gardens or boiler house....three meals a day , out-door games after tea and then supper,...give 'em there do,..there was a nice clean warm bed at the end of the day!!
