I was sent to Werrington in 1952. The headmaster was Mr. Moore (Donkey) the deputy headmaster was Mr (fred) Major the other masters that I can remember were all men A.W.B.Skinner Mr. Hildich (The professor)(Who I went to visit on Anglsey in 1984) but he had died, Mr Niccolls (Nodder) Mr Hobson (Horsey) Mr Meyer the woodwork teacher Mr Clark and Mr Brown. The school was in the village of Werrington near Hanley in Staffordshire. There were four houses Blue Red White and Green I was in Whites and my number was 82. In 1954 the school moved lock stock and barrel to Dovlees Rocester near the village of Denstone my house number was changed to 57 due to the fact that the number of boys was reduced from 120 to 100.m.
