My names Roger Firth i was at desford from 1962 until 65, I have only just come across this although you posted it some time ago. You will find quite a few of us on friendsreunited.co.uk
, there are a few people from your time at the school on there in fact i'm chatting to one of them tonight Anthony Byfield i don't know if you remember him or not. there are quite a few of us in contact with each other now from all different times at the school. we have a 21 page history of the place and loads of boxing day and open day programms, we have even found out where the school records are and a lot of us have viewed ours, if you want to know view your records from the school let me know and i will let you know how to go about it.Looking through my boxing programmes there was a david harris in one of them . was he your brother? if you need anymore information or just a chat about the old place you can either email at backtodesford@hotmail.com
