My father was in several remand homes approved schools One being st gilberts,one being st Charles Brentwood,he dosnt tell much but has many stories about these places, because of this life he led it made him a very special person and dad, I think he was in from 1940s onwards, they were run by brothers some of which were indeed sadistic spiteful ********.
