常言道，「校長是一校之魂」，「有怎樣的校長，便有怎樣的學校」，因此，學校今次肯公開招聘校長，選賢任能，已是踏出認真選拔的第一步。

大家試閱學校招聘校長廣告對新校長的要求，除一些出任校長的基本條件（如五年高級學位教師的資歷和持有校長認證）外，還要求認同辦學團體理念、認識教育條例、有承擔感、具領袖才能、重視團隊協作、有能力領導課改、有良好英語能力等，而更重要的要求是要能把學校「優化」。學校對新任校長提出這麼高的要求，我是深為感動的，我真的希望學校能物色到一位有心有力之人，帶領學校與時並進。

因此，本人在此呼籲各位，多花時間在討論如何「優化濟記」的層面上，讓有心領導濟記前進的教育同工作為參考，這對各方面都有更大的好處。

最後，本人重申自己並無打算應徵母校的空缺，故請Peter放心。
