Subject: Threat of 10/31 mailing date unfair w/o notice

For those of us who were "lucky" (and I use that term very loosely) to get our dancer(s) at least registered on Saturday, be aware that Feis Worx and Cashel have imposed a "drop dead" date of TODAY on all payments submitted by mail. What is so unbelieveable about this is in the email confirmation (if one was even rec'd) NOTHING was said about a 10/31 postmark requirement. Only that a late fee would be imposed after 12/15--Not that any of us would possibly wait that long after what we went through! Only if you happened to check the Winterfeis site OR the FeisWorx site (yeah, right!) could you learn of this last minute requirement. This is as unfair as all other aspects of this process. Cashel--cut people some slack! An email should have been sent to ALL registrants informing of this late-breaking requirement. This is doubly unbelieveable because FeisWorx disallowed credit card payments days ago--it is only due to their incompetence that many of us even found ourselves racing to the post office today! Your threat of dropping dancers whose parents may not even know of the requirement (because you failed to notify them) is shameful at best.
