Even us locals have a had time with the constantly changing exits & on ramps. Basically, "can't get there from here" is Milwaukee's motto for the next 3 years.

If you decide to stay in the downtown area, I would encourage you to check in early Friday eve & make the drive to UWM to make certain of the route.

It has been personal experience that the majority of people are cutting better deals personally or through the internet than can be obtained by "Feis Rates" lately. The last 3 I went to, I got better rates either by joining the free clubs, or reserving online. It just didn't give us any incentive to spend hours calling the hotels to try & reserve blocks this time.
