Subject: Another feis?

Why is this feis so popular? Is it because it is the only local feis of the season? I wonder if they could increase the cap by changing the venue or stretching the competition over two-days? Maybe move the PC/C dancers to another venue, but that could be difficult for parents with children in different categories. Maybe another local feis in January would take the pressure off this feis? I am not aware of all the rules regarding feissanna, so these brainstorming ideas may not even be feasible. It is great that this feis is so popular, but the event is marred by all the negativity surrounding the registration process. We have to figure out a better way.
