HELLO RIGO, GOOD TO BE BACK IN TOUCH WITH EVERYONE, TO JOHN TOPPER, I HAVE TRIED THE TELEPHONE # FOR BILL COOK AND HAVE TRIED SNAIL MAIL, CAME BACK UNDELIVERABLE, CAN YOU HELP, I GOT SCHRAPLE OR HOW EVER YOU SPELL IT, AND DID NOT RECEIVE A PURPLE HEART FOR IT, I NEED A PAPER FROM HIM SAYING I WAS WOUNDED. I REMEMBER HIM BUT CANT FIND HIM NOW. HAPPY

I take it Bill Cook was a Medic over there.Do you know what state he was from, or city-to start a search for him. Who was your CO or platoon leader at that time, they can probably also write something about you being wounded. Rigo

I have nothing on Bill Cook at all - he is not listed in our directory. Sorry. You might try to locate your medical records through the VA where any injury/wound should be recorded. No guarantee, but it might work.
