Subject: Due Process

It's not the amount of money, most Veterans Organizations have $20.00 dues, its DUE PROCESS. I get the "On Track" magazine & I know there are expenses involved in all things. Had I been notified that membership dues were being increaased I would have probably agreed with the increase. Really whats $5.00 today, a little over a gallon of gas. Its being forced to pay something that was forced upon members without a vote. Just give me a say-so, a voice, some type of notice. I'll pay the increase. Just don't cram it down my throat or up my ??? Sounds nick-picky & it is, but people have the right to know. Put the membership dues at $ 30 or $40, again thats not even a tank of gas, I'll pay!! Just let me know. The 1/50th Association is a GREAT Organization & I am priviledged to belong to such a distinguished organization..

If I am not mistaken, I believe there was a vote on the increase at the reunion. Perhaps you missed it or maybe my memory is a bit hazy=) I do agree with you people have a right to know. Thanks for the clarification.
