Subject: BRIDGE NAMED TO HONOR Co.A CASUALTY AT BATTLE OF AN BAO

A bridge on the Lewisburg Highway- State Hwy. 64 west of Shelbyville TN. has been named in honor of Co.A casualty at the Battle of An Bao.
The bridge was named for Donald Ray Stephenson who was killed in the line of duty on 5 May, 1968.

I have written the newspaper to see if there any photos of the bridge or ceremony.
It was a shame there was no representatives from the 1/50 for the unveiling, but perhaps, and this is just an idea, there could be a group of An Bao survivors or other members to attend Veteran's Day at the bridge and the cemetery. I really feel bad for the parents. Rigo
