A Loss...
( The scene opens up with Dark Warrior, wearing his trademark, blue jeans, and Don't Mess With The Best Or Die Like The Rest, T-shirt. He has a confused look on his face, as he is holding a peice of paper in his left hand. Lisa Flyman walks around the corner of a building, as he looks up.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: What do you want?
Lisa Flyman: An interview...
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Okay... Hurry up. I have to prepare for my match.
( Rick Fuller then walks around the corner of the building with his camera.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: ( mumbling.) Set up... like an idiot.
Lisa Flyman: Hello HWA fans! Today I'm here with an up and coming, superstar, in the Hardcore Wrestling Alliance, " The Dark One " Dark Warrior.
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Why are you referring to me, as if I'm some kind of rookie? I've been with this company longer than a lot of guys. I keep getting screwed in, and out of every match. They'll just have to wait and see what I can really do. I'll show them that I'm not just some pushover.
Lisa Flyman: I dddidn't mean it tthhatt wayyy. Anywaay, what about losing to Wild Thang?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: I didn't lose. Sure it may have looked like it, but you're wrong. My right shoulder was up. I've never saw anything like that in my life. That was the biggest rip off, I've ever saw. I'll show Wild Thang what I can do. I'll show Ace Jenkins what I can do.
Lisa Flyman: What about your match on Tuesday Terror?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: I know this peice of paper isn't right. Who do I really have to fight on Tuesday Terror? It couldn't be that idiot, Felipe Romero. I defeated his brother one of the last matches we ever wrestled against each other in. Now, I have to take the weaker of the two brothers. The worser of the two. Maybe they gave me a misprint... who am I really facing?
Lisa Flyman: Felipe Romero...
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: ( Mumbling...) Please tell me I don't have to face him. This has just been a bad day. A very bad day.
Lisa Flyman: What'd you say?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Nothing.
Lisa Flyman: Let me see that peice of paper you're holding.
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Here... Take it... I won't need it.
( Dark Warrior hands Lisa Flyman the peice of paper.)
Lisa Flyman: It doesn't tell you what type of match you're in. Interesting.
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: What type? I just assumed it would be a regular singles match. Or stipulations to be named later...
Lisa Flyman: You're against him in a... Hardcore match.
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: ( Starting to smile.) Great! This is just the chance I need. To take control of the HWA. Or atleast to show them how serious I am about wrestling. I'll just break a few bones. I'll return to what got me to become a star... Hardcore Wrestling. I am "The Greatest Hardcore Champion" ever.
Lisa Flyman: How is your arm holding out?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Well... The doctor's were wrong. Very wrong. It wasn't fully healed, as I thought. I shouldn't have been in that ring. Now, it's re-injured. I wasn't performing my best, and I lost. Simple facts...
Lisa Flyman: Well, what are your thoughts about your Hardcore match, against Felipe Romero?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: My thoughts on him? I have hardly any. He's just some rookie that was dropped too many times on the head when he was a child. When we "were" going to be a tag team, he wasn't all there. You couldn't plan a strategy. He has a donkey for a manager. He is probably the worst wrestler in the HWA right now. He doesn't know what he's talking about half the time. The other half is pretending to be a Super-Villian. I think he's fell off the deep end, myself.
Lisa Flyman: Have you saw the promo he cut on your match?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Yeah... I saw it. I thought he had gone off the deep end when he said all that shit. Anyway, let me make a few quick comments, before I have to, ( Grinning again.) unfortunately leave.
Well, what has the crazy idiot said? Let me see if I can remember. What other type of matches are there? How could you not know what type of match you were in? You must not have heard that this is a Hardcore match. My specialty. What I thrive on. What I used to do to bums, much like your brother. Bitches like Nightmare. Why don't you compare my record with people that have been aligned with your brother... I have won almost every match. Just like I'll beat you.
You call me Duck Warrior? You do sound like Esteban now. I think you've lost it again. Duck Warrior? Please. You can't even read cue cards, or hear right. I couldn't believe that mistake when I heard it.
What kind of name is Fabulous Felipe Romero? What your parents were thinking when you were named... they must have been crazy. I wonder why they gave you that stupid nickname? Or did you come up with that one?
Your brother has only beaten me about four times. I have beaten him about a ( exaggerating, a little.) million times. I took him down like America took down the British. How they sent them, and the French both up to battle for Canada. ( exaggerating again.) We wiped both of them off the face of the earth. Your brother wasn't much of a challange, and you won't be either. I can guarantee that. I could kill you in a second, if I was fully healed ... but in my injured state, you may just put up a little bit of a fight.
Your stipulation is stupid. How about the winner is the one left standing after you get beaten senseless? Does that sound good? Thought so. You can beat me one hand, and your feet, tied behind your back? We'll just have to see about that, won't we? You aren't a Super-Villian. I hope you know that the longer you act like this, the more your psycho ass will get kicked.
( Dark Warrior takes a drink of water from the water bottle that is in his right hand.)
Lisa Flyman: That raps it up, unless you have anymore thoughts about your match with Fabulous Felipe Romero?
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Yes, I do have some comments. I'll be the best wrestler fit to be him. To take him down. To kill him. I can do what I want since it is a Hardcore Match. If you remember, I was probably the greatest Hardcore champion of all. I beat, Geo Vacton for the Hardcore Title. I defended it before 5 guys had to gang up on me to take it, as the Raver or Revolutionist won it. Then, I beat both of their asses and took my title back. Sure, Thornz beat me, but that doesn't mean a damn thing. Felipe, when you enter my type of match, against me, it's like being a bird, in water, facing a shark. You're dead me. So, Don't Mess With The Best Or Lose Like The Rest.
( The scene fades out to Dark Warrior walking away from Rick Fuller, and Lisa Flyman, while taking another drink of water from the water bottle.)
