Been Waiting... Part 1
( The scene opens up with Dark Warrior trying to do push-ups one handed, but can't. He falls on the arm. He gets up, and tries again. His phone rings, as his blue wife-beater, and blue jeans are shown rising. He walks to the phone and picks it up.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: ( While picking up the phone.) Well, not a lot of guys have talked on the first day of the HWA. I, of course was the first. Followed by Krazy, King Mike. And an earlier promo by this guy who is sure to go far in the HWA, Jason Crisis.
( With the phone in hand.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Hello.
( A pause.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Yes, I guess it would work, but not to my advantage. You try and help every time. You can't help me, you never have helped me.
( Yelling from the other end can be heard.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Chris, you suck. You never could wrestle. You were hardcore champion for, what, a day? Anyway, I'm busy. Jett, you'll never make it as a big HWA star. Go back to the minor leagues.
( Dark Warrior turns the cellphone off.)
" The Dark One " Dark Warrior: Well, now that that's over with, I can do my promo for the day.
Wild Thang, I won't be in the best shape of my life, like I was before. I won't be in the worst shape. I won't have any advantages. I have tried to work my way to do a push up, but it hasn't worked. Wild Thang, I want to see what you can do. Show me your full potential.
Everybody says that I was the potential to be up there with guys like Jason Chambers, Krazy King Mike, Esteban, Wild Thang, and Pimp2dope. I have to do all the work. Anybody can say what they want to do, but they can't get the job done if they don't plan it through. With an injury, it makes the planning so much harder. I'll pan for it, Wild Thang. Trust me.
Well, Wild Thang, you might have been a Grand Slam Champion of the Classic ERA, but now this isn't the Classic ERA. This is my ERA. This is where the wrestlers of the old, face me. The best damn wrestler ever to grace the Hardcore Wrestling Alliance. I've been working my whole life to become a wrestler. Most federations wanted to use me as developmental talent, but the HWA didn't. It launched my career. Now those same feds that offered me a developmental contract are now asking me to come back. To raise their ratings, but I said no. I have something on my mind. I want to prove I'm better than you. I want to beat you, fair and square. No help.
This is going to be one for the record books. Maybe... Just maybe even the best match the Hardcore Wrestling Alliance has never seen. I will work harder than hard to win. I'll work rougher, than rough to win. I do everything I can to win the match. Except ask for outside interference. If somebody, by some chance walks down to the ring, and interferes, it's not me. I didn't ask anybody. I didn't want him to help me. It goes against what I've said, but if it happens, it's not my fault.
Wild Thang, we were the greatest tag team in the HWA, but now, we are going to put on the greatest wrestling match. I'll bring my A game. Will you bring yours? My arm might not be healed, but trust me, it will be healed enough to take you down.
Wild Thang, can you stop the high death? Can you stop me? Can you stop any one? Or are you washed up? All these questions will be answered next Friday. A week from today the biggest match clashes. The best of the best face off. Number one contendership for the IC title means a lot to me. It means I'll be better than you. Remember this, Don't Mess With The Best Or Lose Like The Rest.
( The scene fades out to Dark Warrior shoving the Camera Man out of the way.)
