I have been looking for a site where Florida hunters exchange information. Maybe we can get a discussion going and those of you with the knowledge can share with those of us who are struggling with a problem.
I do quite a bit of bowhunting on Central Florida public land (Tosohatchee, Seminole Ranch, Citrus, Panasoffkee). It is frustrating trying to find a place to hang a stand. In August and September, there doesn't seem to be much buck sign. There are very few fresh rubs or scrapes. Keying in on food sources is difficult because the acorns aren't falling yet and there are not any planted crops. (90% of what I read in national magazines doesn't apply to our area.)
