MISS CANADA PETITE 2007
Ages 18- 29 years of age, 5'5 and below
-Must be of good character
-Must be a Canadian Citizen
-Never been married or in a common-law-relationship.

-Must be a natural born female
-Winner of Miss Canada Petite 2007, will represent Canada at the 2008 Miss Petite International Pageant.

In order to participate at the 2007 Miss Canada Globe National Pageant, accepted applicants must compete in the Regional Event. Regional pageants are held in 8 different provinces across Canada, including but are not limited to: British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and regions of Ontario (Southern, Western, Eastern and Central Ontario). Potential delegates from all other areas should apply directly through head office.

Hi There pageant fans!
Melissa Apolinario- 1st Runner- Up of Miss Canada Globe 2006 and Miss Tourism Canada 2006, represented our country very well at the Miss Tourism Planet International which was held in Athens, Greece.
Melissa being the first runner- up at Miss Canada Globe 2006 Pageant, has won the right to represent Canada at Miss Tourism Planet International Pageant. Melissa competed against 30 contestants from around the World to vie for the coveted title of Miss Tourism Planet International.
Although Melissa did not place in the semifinals, she was a crowd favourite from the beginning. Melissa also received the Miss Congeniality award. Miss China won the Miss Tourism Planet International 2007 title and her runner- ups are Miss Gibraltar(1st Runner- Up) and Miss Bosnia (Second Runner- Up)

Cali Tanner- Miss Teen Canada Globe 2006 has just left for Australia today for the 2007 Miss Teen World Pageant. Cali will be representing Canada at the Miss Teen World 2007 Pageant, where she will be competing over 20 teenage girls from all over the world to vie for the most prestigous title of Miss Teen World 2007.
Cali is accompanied by Michelle Weswaldi, who is the Internal Affairs Officer of the Miss Canada Globe Productions, who will be her official chaperone during the International Event, Michelle is also the one who is responsible for training Cali for this international event.

BLACKSTOCK -- Who says waiting in line at Tim Hortons is a bad thing?
Don't expect to see Cali Tanner, crowned Miss Teen Canada in August, 2006, a Blackstock resident, lounging around in designer evening wear with perfect hair. This 16-year-old beauty is a self professed 'tomboy' who can keep up with her brother Blake whether it's on a snowmobile, 4-wheeler, snowboard or ice fishing in Caesarea. You may not see much of her around town for awhile. Miss Tanner is now preparing to represent Canada at the Miss Teen World competition in Australia on April 29.
Miss Tanner's journey to worldwide competition began when she was discovered while waiting in line at a coffee shop. Miss Tanner said, "They discovered me at Tim Hortons. I was in there buying some food."
She did a few modeling jobs and the 'Fashion Cares' fashion show and she was talked into auditioning for the pageant. Miss Tanner said, "The very first audition I was accepted in and then we competed for our regional areas."
She became Miss Teen Durham Region in March, 2006. She was then selected from 31 teens from across the country for the opportunity to represent Canada in the largest teen pageant in the world.
When she's not attending Holy Trinity Catholic School in Courtice, Miss Tanner keeps very busy with her favourite sports and volunteering in the community.
Volunteering at the Oshawa Zoo since the age of 12, Miss Tanner has accumulated 140 hours of community service, far surpassing her high school graduation requirement of 40. She now trains new volunteers at the zoo and is entrusted to take care of many of the animals.
"I can pretty much do anything there now," she says. "I can help close the zoo. They really trust me."
Miss Tanner can play defense and centre positions and is the assistant captain for the house league girls' hockey team, the Clarington Flames. She has been playing hockey for about 11 years and says she enjoys the competition.
She also used to figure skate in Blackstock with the Bladerunners synchronized skating team.
Miss Tanner's love of animals shows in her everyday life. Her goal is to attend Guelph University and study to be a veterinarian.
"I love animals so I'm doing a co-op at school right now at the East Oshawa Animal Hospital," she explains. "It's given me a lot of experience. They let me assist with declawing cats and surgery prep."
She continues, "I've loved animals since I was little. When I was little, one time my brother brought me a baby rabbit home. We raised him and let it go in the wild again."
Miss Tanner is also the spokesperson for the Durham Region Humane Society and has helped to raise money to expand the facility. Her family has seven pets including four leopard geckoes, a rabbit, a cat and a dog.
Her busy schedule doesn't stop her from spending time with friends.
"I am definitely a lot busier now. I make sure that I set time aside for my extracurricular activities and my friends and, of course, my family," she says.
Despite the hectic schedule, she enjoys all that she does.
"Giving to the community and helping to be a positive role model for teenagers, that's what I really love about it," she explains. "We help a lot of charities."
Some of the charities she has assisted include the Terry Fox Run, fundraising for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and AIDS research, to name a few.

Hi there pageant fans!
Here are some pictures of Screamers, Canada's Largest Indoor Scream Park. This event was attended by the 2006 National Titleholders on October 28, 2006, which was held in Toronto. The national titleholders did an autograph session with the patrons of Screamers, as well as enjoyed the night with visiting haunted attractions.

Here are some pictures of the 2006 Enbridge Cn Tower Stair Climb Challenge for United Way (Day 1), which was held on October 21, 2006 at the CN Tower. This event was attended by Cali Tanner- Miss Teen Canada Globe 2006/ 2007 and Jessica Bertolas- Miss Canada petite 2006/ 2007. United Way of Greater Toronto Area is one of the charities that we have a strong relationship with, which the Miss Canada Globe Productions started working with United Way of Greater Toronto Area since October of 2000. This is part of the Miss Canada Globe Productions Campaign of "A Symbol of True Canadian Beauty!"

Hello to all Pageant Fans!
I would like to inform you that the original date for the telecast of the Miss Canada Globe 2006 Pageant on November 26, 2006 (Global TV) has been delayed at a later time. The 2006 pageant is scheduled to be aired on March 4, 2006 at CBC Television at 7pm and reruned on Rogers Television Cable 10 Toronto on March 11, 2006 at 9pm. Sorry for the delay as we are trying to get a cheaper time slot for television airing. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year!

Hi There Pageant Fans,
We are pleased to announce that Canada's very own Natasa Delic placed as one of the Top 20 semifinalist at the Miss Globe International 2006 Pageant, held at Butrinti, Albania.
Over 45 contestants from around the World, Natasa Delic of Canada placed as one of the top 20 semifinalist.
The winner of the 2006 Miss Globe Internationa Pageant was Miss Venezuela, Viviana Lisbeth Ramos Puma. First Runner- Up was Miss Brazil,Franciele Weinheimer and the Second Runner- Up was Miss Albania, Silvi Skenderaj.
Natasa Delic is the first Canadian to place as a semifinalist in the 34 years of the Miss Globe International Pageant.
The Miss Canada Globe Productions would like to thank all the people who supported us on Natasa's journey as Miss Canada Globe 2005 and at Miss Globe International Pageant.
Natasa, thank you for representing our country with pride, and we are all proud of your accomplishments, you have opened the doors for future Miss Canadas' to Miss Globe!!! Well done and congratulations once again, Natasa!!!

The Miss Canada Globe Productions, proudly announces that Yasmin Ali, Miss Canada Petite 2005- 2006, placed First Runner- Up at the Miss Petite International 2006 Pageant, held last night in Houston, Texas.
Yasmin competed over 40 contestants from all over the World. Miss Petite Connecticut won the 2006 Miss Petite International crown, Yasmin Ali, Miss Canada Petite is First Runner- Up, Miss Petite Honduras is Second Runner- Up and Miss Petite Puerto Rico is Third Runner- Up.
On behalf of the Miss Canada Globe Productions, we would like to thank everyone who had given their support.
Yasmin is the first Canadian to place as a finalist at the Miss Petite International Pageant!
Yasmin thank you for representing our nation of Canada very well, and we are very proud of your achievement!!!!!

Hi there pageant fans! Natasa Delic, Miss Canada Globe 2005- 2006, left for Albania yesterday, as she represents Canada at the 34th annual Miss Globe International Pageant!
Natasa will be representing Canada at the Miss Globe International 2006 Pageant, and will be competing with over 65 delegates from around the World, for the title of Miss Globe International 2006. The Miss Canada Globe Productions would like to thank the following:

It has been brought to my attention about someone relating herself as "The Original Miss Toronto 200!" online, let me say a few words to clear the situation:
I am the Executive Officer of the Miss Canada Globe Productions, and the owner of the Miss Toronto title for the Miss Canada Globe Productions. I have already announced that Melissa Apolinario is the only official Miss Toronto 2006 titleholder, and that she is the official representative of the region of Toronto at the 2006 Miss Canada Globe National Pageant.
To this person who has an MSN NAME:
"{angel} ur # 1 sweetie da original Miss Toronto 2006 09.14.04 luv you baby-got the best bf ever... -hehe-IM NOT GONNA BLAST YOU ON THE INTERNET,CUZ MY MOMMA TAUGHT ME BETTER THAN DAT, B---H!"
I am only saying this once to you and you better listen!
1. You chose not to continue on in the nationals, so you are no longer keeping the title of Miss Toronto 2006, and the actual title holder is Melissa Apolinario.
2. Your name has been submitted to the Canadian Pageant Union, which means you are blaclisted on Unionized Canadian Pageants.
3. The $700.00 fee that you paid was for the regionals, not for the title of "Miss Toronto 2006!"
So please stop telling people you are the original Miss Toronto 2006, coz you are not recognized by the Miss Canada Globe Executive Committee as the official Miss Toronto 2006, when you made the decision to not continue on in the nationals.
If you continue on in presenting yourself as Miss Toronto 2006, you are misrepresenting yourself and you will receive a letter from the Canadian Pageant Bearue.

The Executive Committee, proudly announces that Melissa Apolinario, Miss Central District of Toronto 2006, has been elevated the position of Miss Toronto 2006, and will be the official Regional Title holder for the Region of Toronto.
We would like to wish Keturah Barclay best of luck in her future endeavors.
Melissa Apolinario, will be the official Miss Toronto 2006 and will represent the Region of Toronto at the National Finals of the Miss Canada Globe 2006 Pageant.
The main purpose of holding a Regional Title, is to represent the Region in a National Competition, followed by doing appearances and charity work.
We wish Melissa Good Luck, in her reign as Miss Toronto 2006.

Here are some pics of the Regional Titleholders in action helping with VOICE. The titleholders helped out by selling Gold Cards, and has raised the over a $1,000.00 for VOICE.
The event was graced by our Regional Titleholders as well as our reigning National Titleholders and the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Team. Enjoy!

To other titleholders who are not present in the event without no reason or excuse of not being there, I just hope that you all will participate in our events and be active with your titles. Your titles will not mean anything if you don not do anything for people to know you are involved in events. I expect more participation from you all, how can you prove to be a national title holder, when you don't even show up for events or not even do one to promote your title and the organization, the lack of participation and involvement shows you do not care.
I just want to give a message to all of you, in order for you all to know how I feel as a director, and bring you all to reality!!!
