Subject: At the blackboard

I remember a great lesson I learned in school and that was that people will do almost anything if they believe it is fun or an honor. Every day our teacher gave the honor of cleaning the blackboard brushes to two students. This meant we took them outside and banged two of them together to knock off all the chalk dust. Dirty work if there ever was. Yet we were all eager to be given the job because she made it into a big deal. A huge honor awarded with fanfare.
