Some reasons why dancers don't do well at competitions:

1. My dd didn't do well because.....the musician was bad.
2. The judge didn't like her.
3. The other girl bullied her.
4. Her rotation was awful.
5. She danced with the girl who placed fifth in her Oireachtas.
6. She was tired.
7. She has cramps
8. She has allergies
9. She was mad at me.
10. She was very mad at me.
11. She was extremely mad at me because I told her to turn out her feet and she told me I didn't know squat and therefore she danced bad on purpose just to make me mad. But it wasn't her fault!
12. She doesn't like her dress anymore.
13. Her dress was too tight and she was in pain.
14. She did not get enough sleep the night before.
15. She was worried about her dog.
16. She needs a new dress.
17. Her wig was loose.
18. Her cape fell off.
19. The floor was slippery.
20. The music was too fast.
21. The music was too slow.
22. Her shoes were too small.
23. My friend was there and it made her nervous.
24. She only had three classes this week rather than five
25. Ohhhhhh..her teacher didn't let her get a private lesson because her teacher doesn't like her.
26. She feels self-concious because she got a pimple last night.
27. Her boyfriend broke up with her so she can't dance.
28. the ADJ was looking at the other dancers
29. the shoes
30. dress did funny things
31. Hotel was cursed
32. musician had one too many
33. sound system was rubbish
34. the wigs personality took over the dance
35. other competitors dress put my DD off her stride
36. The feis ran late and she had to wait sooo long to dance that she fell asleep in the third step. Only woke up when the other dancer bumped her on purpose.
37. She stayed up too late the night before dancing in the hotel pub.
38. She drew 666 as her competitor number
39. Mine was 1313 AND 13 back to back Feisanna!!!!
40. She forgot to bring "Erin the Bear"
41. When "pointing her toe" she suddenly recalled that she hadn't done a "bloomers check".
42. Her TCRG wasnt watching/
43. Her TCRG was watching!
44. Because, MOM! You wouldn't understand...(storms off)
45. She had to dance first.
46. She had to dance last!
47. Her competitor card was chafing against her belly button piercing!
48. The one judge who hates me was looking at me.
49. Told to us at a feis we had recently by a mom..."can 50. you check the scores, because my dd's number isn't up there and she ALWAYS places in this dance!"
51. they only watch kids from a certain school
52. It was too hot. Too windy and cold. She felt like throwing up. Not one judge looked at her.
53. only went to class 4 times this week not five!
54. She was dancing with a girl from a school the ADJ likes!
55. I didn't let her drink RedBull - but everyone drinks it Mom
56. She decided she personally was the exception to the make-up and toestand rule.
57. She was mad at husband and I because we didn't take her to Mc'donalds the night before
58. Her dance dress was scratchy.
59. herboyfriend didn't call, her boyfriend did call, he came he didn't come to feis,he was not home when she call be just before dancing, I forgot to bring her favorite snack drink, , her shoes wern't polished her shoes were polished what we go through
60. I saw you watching............you threw off my timing!
