Eastern Conferance. (Starting with easy also works with girls too ya know.)

(1) Buffalo Sabres vs New York Islanders.

Remember what Buffalo did to the Flyers last year? Same thing applies.

Buffalo in 4.

(2) New Jersey Devils vs (7) Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay did not want to play the devils in the first round. If anyone can shut down there big guns it will be Brouder and Madden. If you can stop the big 3 of Tampa Bay its easy to win. They have no one after that.

Devils in 5.

(3) Atlanta Thrashers vs (6) New York Rangers

Rangers aren't the same team that got slapped around last year by the Devils. But have they improved much? This is a make or break year for Atlanta. I think the series will be close but I think Atlanta's big guns step up more then the Rangers.

Atlanta in 6.

(4) Ottawa Senators vs (5) Pittsberg Penguins

The sens could never win the cup with all that talent they have had in the past years. They have less talent this year and aren't a better team. I think that might actually work for them as there is more pressure on the Pens to preform then there is the Sens. Its really a go either way series. I'm just not sure the Pens are ready for the next big step.

Ottawa in 7.

Western Conferance

(1) Detriot Red Wings vs (8) Calgary Flames

The battle of two teams going no where in the playoffs. Course saying this one will make it to the final. But both teams don't scare me but I think Detriot is going to win this.

Detriot in 6.

(2) Juan vs Minnisota Wild.

The ducks started out like a house on fire and have really cooled off in the second half of the season. While the wild really picked up there game and made a run for the northwest division title. No one is going to out coach lamare. I give this one to the wild.

Wild in 7.

(3) Vancouver Canucks vs Dallas Stars

The question to me is how long is this series going to go. The canucks should win barring a collapse by Luongo. All the games will be close but it could end in 4 games or it could end in 7. Just depends who gets the bounces.

Canucks in 5.

(4) Nashville Predators vs (5) San Jose Sharks

Both teams in a sense I think underacheived this year. I was suprised the Preds couldn't win their division. Same with the Sharks. But in the end it matters not and they get to face each other again. Last year it was a good series should be again this year. Although closer cause the Preds don't have Mason in net.

Sharks in 7.
