Paul,

I have posted here before - but it has been a long time. So as to not confuse people (as happened in the past when I posted with this moniker) no - I am not the famous "Brooks" that posts here often. I am a long time fan of Blotto from way way back - now have kids and the whole thing - but see on average 1 show per week.

Having lived through the entire situation with your ex-guitar player - I must say how much I RESPECT THE FACT THAT YOU POSTED EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED WITH ALAN. Far too many bands, businesses, etc. leave things up to the rumor mill - which can definitely come back to bite you. I remember when I heard a few years back that you were bringing in Hague - I admit I was skeptical - but I (and I think Blotto fans in general) could not have been happier with the result. Hague has helped to take the band in different directions and is AWESOME. So I certainly welcome a new era in the percussion section. I had a chance to see Tony this past weekend - and while it was clear he is still feeling his way - I think he will be a great addition and I look forward to watching him grow with the band.

I would be remiss if I didn't thank Alan for all the years of great times. The internal band stuff is obviously none of our business - but Alan has provided the backbone to many great times for me - and for that I am grateful.

Paul - again thanks for being a class act. As in all these stories I am sure there are 2 sides - but at least we as fans aren't left to wonder......or make something up.

Good luck to Alan - and here's to some rockin times to come!
