When Sayid tackled him in the flash forward during "The Shape Of Things To Come", he asked him how he got off the island. If Ben was in the cargo hold with the Oceanic 6, Sayid would've known.

You're right. Ok I don't buy Christian since he WAS dead at the crash and there was a memorial for him in the flash forward. Also I think jack would have been a little more involved with him. Maybe...just maybe he is an existing dude meant to cause this discussion. *i don't ever know at this point*

... who winds up being the big evil genius worse than even Ben and Widmore, but we don't see him again until the very last episode ;)
