Is it possible that Sun's was a flashforward while Jin's was a flashback? I didn't quite get whom he was working for. Or is he really alive in the future and married to someone else? Cause that'd be really weird. But if he did make it off the island and died afterwards, does he still count as O6?

Sun's was a flash forward and Jin's was a flashback to right after their marraige when he was working for her father and not yet doing threats, etc. Instead, he was sent to charm the Chinese ambassador with a stuffed animal for his new child.
My clue was that I'm gosh darn sure Aaron is considered an Oceanic 6 (so much debate about this!) so there was no way Jin could make it out, too.

I'm still doubtful about Aaron being one of the O6. I prefer to think he isn't, because that leaves room for one more Lostaway to get off the island! (Along with non-O6ers, like Ben and Desmond and opefully Juliet.) And according to Lostpedia at least, still only 5 of the 6 have been revealed.
I hope Jin's death is a hoax, and that he's still stuck on the island. I don't want him to be dead!

I can kinda see Aaron being one of the Oceanic Six if it's a "media moniker", like it's a shortened term for "the six people found after the Oceanic crash", but I hope the show doesn't go that route, as "Oceanic Six" to me means six passengers. I'm holding out hope Juliet is off the island, assuming the identity of someone else from the crash!

The date on Jin's gravestone. I take that to mean he could still be alive on the island and everyone's pretending he's dead (as I think for Claire) or just that they had to put his death a the date of the crash instead of oh, 3 months later for the sake of the coverstory.

I loved it! They totally had me fooled about Jin up until the end. I think Jin is truly dead, otherwise why whould Sun want to visit the gravesight with Hurley. THe whole Michael situation is very weird though. I'm still rather confused but I guess we now have our Oceanic 6 officially.

i'm assuming jin is alive and on the island...but they have to make a show that he's dead so none of the "evil people" whomever they are...goes to try to find the peeps on the island.

As long as we haven't seen him die, he lives on the island. Besides there's no reason to think that the flash-forwards are showing the ending.
Jin is too pretty to be killed off.
But I'm sad about the couple being separated.Poor Sun.

I personally do think Jin's still on the island, although what possible sequence of events would lead him to stay behind while he sends his wife off blows my mind.
