I liked the many echoes about fathers being determined to kill for their kids: Michael, the obvious one, Widmore the one in the background and of course Ben.

So says Locke, but there were feints within feints. Some very complex power plays goig on. And "no secrets" could also relate to Michael's confession to Walt - a confession that cost him the son he murdered for.

And yeah, when are the gang gonna learn NOT to do ANYTHING that Ben requests? Cuz -- he's so effing crafty. They haven't figured this out by now?

Locke is becoming a little tin-plated god, fer chrissakes. Someone knock him off his pedastal, already!

If anyone wants to reach me, I'll be living in Denial until we get official, on-the-show confirmation that Danielle has indeed bit the big one. We haven't even had her flashback yet, it would be cruel for them to kill her off after all this time (especially as we had to sit through various Kate, Nikki/Paolo, Jack and Ana-Lucia episodes)!

Wouldn't it be a pisser if the "shooters" make Alex choose which one to save? Ben would do something like that (and I think the shooters are the rest of The Others").

He says that when they filmed the shooting scene, originally you saw the shooters come out of the jungle... and they're wearing proper jungle-camouflage gear. So maybe not Others after all...?

Ok, I admit that had nothing to do with the show, but I finally purchased a new pc this weekend after losing internet connection for 4 days. People that is a loooonnnggg time for me. Just as Buffy had happy sushi pj's, I have happy pants that are yellow with the well known smiley face all over them. I'm wearing them as I post something that I know will actually go through. *yippee for me* Ok as far as the episode, I thought the actor did a great job but I'm very confused (again). Aside from what everyone else posted (Chani eloquent as usual)how is it that Mr. Smiley could get on and off the island so quickly and easily? This issue is really starting to mess with me. The whole "the island won't let you die," issue is a big questions for me as well. Oh and who the hell was in the casket in the Jack flashforward!?!?!
