Go on Yahoo, go to the Cloverfield page and click "user reviews" -- the buzz is overwhelmingly positive. And gretch might just wind up being happy about how much monster you get to see.

I quite enjoyed it but as a disclaimer, I LOVE monster movies. The graphics were great, too. Best film ever? No, but pretty fun for me. Oh, and Drew Goddard wrote it. I had no clue he was involved.
