Subject: Screencap of "the other guy in Jacob's shack" and some spec

http://www.fanpop.com/spots/lost/images/533022

From looking at it: it doesn't appear to be Jacob. It kinda looks like "Mikhail" (from season 3) to me. It doesn't look like Michael or Locke and it doesn't look like any of the other Lostaways to me. The person looks like they're experiencing something horrible.

The person in the rocking chair is definately Christian Sheppard.

Ben said to Locke: "What if there was a magic box...". I now think he was referring to the shack. And Hurley's experience in the jungle showed that the shack isn't "fixed" in a specific place -- it "moved". Perhaps Kate's horse, Walt, Locke's dad, and Jack's dad all came from the shack and are "corporeal" hallucinations, like Charlie was when he visited Hurley.

Thoughts?

I am certain though that the person in the chair was christian. I don't get how HE could be jacob though unless takes different forms, which I also don't get. As far as the corporeal hallucinations...how did that other dude see Charlie (he pointed him out) if he was in fact a hallucination? *sigh* I'm just very confused.

I think it was a big hint about the nature of the "manifestations" -- that they aren't "ghosts" or simply a projection (hallucination). I don't think Christian is also Jacob -- I think Jacob is just one of many "personages" who "come through" the cabin. It's also possible that all the "personages" are actually the same entity under different disguises. I also think it's possible Locke knows this, and that's why he (apparently) felt no problem in having Sawyer "kill" Locke's father. Because it wasn't "really" his father. Still -- shitty to put all that guilt on Sawyer.

The "guy with the eye" seemed to be in terror of being in the cabin with Christian. So I suspect the cabine is going to be this year's big mystery.

Could it be Charlie?

Man, that ramps up the creep factor by a thousand! And I think you're right! It makes total sense, given the rest of the episode.

BTW, didn't Dom look good with short hair?

When you think about it, it would make sense that Charlie is who Hurley would see. Rather foreshadowing.
