I'd imagine they'll get to it in her next episode... -- anyasbuttmonkey, Monday, February 11, 02:21:32pm [1] (85-211-248-111.dsl.pipex.com/85.211.248.111)
They've been playing it up for a while now, I'd assume it'll be the focus of a flashback/forward :)

God, I hope she is. -- Joe, Monday, February 11, 06:21:22pm [1] (c-76-108-202-26.hsd1.fl.comcast.net/76.108.202.26)
If she' pregnant, then maybe the guy Jack mentioned at home waiting for Kate in that flash-forward was her son instead of some loser guy. I like the idea of her eventually ending up an empowered single mom instead of desperately needing a man in her life. Because honestly, Jack and Sawyer are both pretty and all, but Kate seems a lot more well-balanced than either of them and she's got a freakin' bounty on her head.
And if they stick her with some other guy she met after she got off the island, you know he'd just be some cardboard cutout of a guy, either another loser to show that she still falls into the same habits of finding the boys with deep-seated issues, or a "perfect man" to illustrate that now she's found the perfect American dream or some bullshizz like that.
The perfect end to Kate's character arc would be her defining herself without a guy in her life. Driving a sports car she bought herself, successfully raising a son whom she'll teach not to be a douchebag, and generally not needing the approval of some dude to be happy: that's the strong heroine I want to see when this whole crazy story is over.

Actually, I take back my issue with this theory. -- Joe, Monday, February 11, 02:46:40am [1] (c-76-108-202-26.hsd1.fl.comcast.net/76.108.202.26)
The more I think about it, the more I believe Michael is Ben's man on the boat. My issue with it was that he must have had the info about Naomi's team before Desmond triggered the failsafe and knocked out the island's communication. But really, it's entirely likely that Ben left a more low-tech line of communication on the small boat for Michael to use to remain in contact, like a simple walkie.
This would then explain why Naomi's team is suddenly able to find the island; Ben directed Michael to her freighter to scout out what's going on onboard it, and Michael led them to the island.
The thing I'm sort of fuzzy on right now is how Dharma knows Desmond is on the island (as evidenced by Naomi's copy of Desmond and Penny's picture, and her orders to say that Penny sent her). Has that been explained already? I don't exactly remember all the details about when Desmond first arrived on the island, and what sort of contact he had with Dharma people. It's been awhile since that stuff aired, and my interest in the show hadn't quite developed into the full-on obsession it is now, haha.
