Charisma Carpenter is heading back to college.

The onetime Buffyverse vixen has been tapped to guest-star on the season finale of ABC Family's newest soapy treat Greek. She'll play a national sorority representative who shows up to investigate a big, juicy scandal.

"She's part Scully and part Cordelia," explains Greek creator Sean Smith of Carpenter's snarky sleuth, who arrives for the mid-September finale and, assuming the show gets renewed, could very well return for Season 2. "I'd love to have her back," says Smith.

my sister and i totally dig it.

but i mean...it's an abc family channel show about fraternities etc....it's no emmy winner.

but i always walk away with funny lines from the show.
