Hi Susan,

Thanks for sharing your holder experience. We have tried smoking in many many situations and my wife has tried many brands. We have never tried a holder. I think it could add a lot of drama to the bedroom. I peresonally like her smoking a 120, especially Capri or Viginia Slims, but as a private smoker who does not smoke all the time she prefers the Virginia SuperSlim Menthols (she says she prefers them because they generate less smoke when not puffing).

I can certainly tell about my Smoking Monday, however this is a board that I thought was supposed to be about the Lovely Ladies and their smoking. I have posted questions and answers to questions, but I have thought it likely not appropriate to post about my smoking. In fact, there is usually very little to tell, compared to what I read here.

However, my wife and kids have been gone for a long weekend without me, so that leaves me with an empty house, and allows for more smoking. Again my average over many years has been about 10 a day, but it creeps up when no one is at home. I only have a very few friends and relatives I smoke with, and my favorite smoking partner, my wife is not here. So, I enjoy waking up and having a cigarette on the deck with a cup of coffee and the paper, which I do not do when the kids are home. I also often read a book on the deck in the evening, smoking and having a drink. That is about the extent of it.

However, when my wife is home, I often try to figure out ways to pawn the kids off on grandparents or aunts and uncles, so we can have a night or two alone. It is usually not that difficult, and this time alone usually happens about once every month or two. When we can find a night alone, it is great fun to relax (or not) with my wife who does know how to smoke and really capture my full attention. I will admit she puffs more than she inhales on her Virginia Superslims menthols. However, she certainly does and can inhale for dramatic and effective seductive moves.

Bottomline, there is very little to report of my own smoking nor that of my lovely wife smoking, when she is not even at home. I admit that I have not shared this board with her, although there have been some statements made here I have shared (like "happy pants" saying I saw it on the Internet). Her worst fear is what is often expressed here with regard to underage smoking, observed by parents who smoke ( I have not shared this part with her).

I on the other hand started as a teen, and did this at a time when smoking was permitted at school if you were 14 years old, without parental permission. My wife is the same age, but never had a cigarrette until college, and would like her sons to not start at all or at least wait until they were adults and of legal age. Other than that she would be appalled if I reported in detail on her smoking adventures with me (I have already said more than she would ever be comfortable with).
