Morning to all. Welcome Community Play Gal. You remind me of my parents and their plans for us 5 children. We're doing our things although not exactly as planned.
Susan has led us off so well in the mornings, sort of spurring us to post more often. Actually, she may be a night person. She and Cathy make for a great one-two punch.Ladies, I think Ted is lurking. You are over the boy's head. But Ted is a good guy and reflects the college scene where smoking became public for so many.
I'm sure many my age, 27, would look at a picture from college with a cigarette and drink in hand and say is that me. They better buy the negatives. There's one of my doc friend and me at 22 very much into the bar thing. She was not a bar smoker. If they gave pins for smoking duration, she would have received her 10-year pin a year before. I had smoked at 11 also but it was a pack a summer. She was up to 2 packs a week.
At work, most are real helpful in letting me be a quitter while pregnant. One who is not is the teen girl we hired through a school work and learn program. Allison is 17 and worthy of the full-time summer job she has. She has offered me cigarettes at least once a day this week.
Her dad is second in command at our company location which is ahead of me. We are friends with her parents. His wife Wanda is a true Late Bloomer. Last night we ate out with them and she offered my husband, also quit in support of me, and I a cigarette.
Wanda is a Marlboro Lights smoker. Allison catches me in more stressful and familiar work situations and she smokes those wonderful Reds, my old brand. Even worse, is my husband would never know.
