I talked to my oldest daughter Barb today. She and Sarah are home from high school where she teaches and Sarah is a new student.
Barb really expected Sarah to quit smoking, especially if she joined her this summer. Barb is 42. Her oldest took up smoking at the age of 12 and Barb spend a great deal of time telling Stephanie how bad it was that she smoked. Steph amounted to something, still smoking and graduating from college in May.
Barb insists that they only smoke in the house and not in the car on the way to school. I warned her she could get the habit. She admits it's a long time between leaving home and returning. So, she's gone overboard in raising her third daughter. The second one has never been much of a smoker but was developing a drinking problem. She seems to have pulled out of the drinking thing on her how. Barb's other is Ed who is a senior in high school and very athletic.

Funny how none of the guys in Marble Falls ever smoke.
