Subject: Mother Megan's Tuesday Message

I'd sure let Jessica smoke. That is pretty stressful having to decide which game to go to. It's too bad Laura and Laurel don't have the discpline that Lauren has.

Thanks for a post that includes us all. The girls start the playoffs Thursday with a game at the college. Then they go back Saturday morning to the college for one or two games starting at 10 in the morning. It's hard to get on the college field and that's why they can't play Friday or Saturday night.
The boys play Thursday night at this neutral location and then one or two games Friday starting at 4 at the same location.
As for smoking, not for me. Jess seems to be off although she has the stress of deciding which game to go to Thursday. Since Walt is not likely to pitch the opener, we will probably go to the girls game Thursday.
I even had lunch with Gloria, now an admitted returnee to smoking. Her daughter Hillary is in her second week of smoking. Gloria said she hit 10 a day. Gloria said Kelli's mother called her to express her concern that Kelli was smoking and drinking with Hillary.
By the time the word got to Gloria, Hillary said Kelli got sick Saturday night and swore off smoking. While Gloria, who is known to speak her mind, was nice to Kelli's mom, she told me the woman needed to see the light.
The girls are 18. I said with the way things are going now, I would less Jess make her own cboices with respect to the others in the house. Gloria agreed. She said Kelli was the oldest so they have more to come just like me.
She said she would be mad if Hillary gave a cigarette to her 12-year-old sister. She asked if any of the older girls ever gave Lisa a cigarette.
I said no but my biggest challenge is my sister's daughter the same age. I added thankfully they don't see each other that much. I told her 12-year-olds have friends with cigarettes. I told her to watch Laura, the one Lisa's age. I added, watch Lisa, too.
With all the talk of smoking, I was proud to have not even asked for one.
The rumor is that the coack is trying to decide what to do witb the emergence of Alyson who subbed very well for Laurel after she was kicked out of a game for uttering a curse word.
As I said before, Laura and Laurel have a non-smoking mother but not a whole lot of disclipine.
