Subject: Susan's Wednesday Starter

You can't tell the players without a score card in this one, but I see "Amber, who goes with my son" is back, but she is not smoking.

Please tell us about your smoking Wednesday. Thanks for the kind words Cathy. It should be an interesting ceremony, Mindy. Good luck on planning your event for the baby, Janice. How's the new smoker in your family, Charlotte?
Welcome Brittany. Keep us updated on the new smoker in your office that your "students" are bringing along. At my office, Amy seems off to a start closeted from her family while Val did not smoke at the office yesterday. Amy operates out of a pack she has not brought home.
Our girls team has a sincle playoff game with a strong team Thursday. My son's team will launch a playoff series with one game Friday night at our ballpark, and 2 Saturday at the opponent's location. The game should be tough for both our teams.
Lacy, who turned 12 in February, seems to be smoking just outside her house when smoking alone but takes her friends out behind the shed where they can smoke without being seen.
Some of the mothers are resigning themselves to the fact that their kids are smoking at Lacy's. Marilyn, at work, said it's their choices to make. She started at 11 but quit in early adulthood after gaining somewhat of a bad girl reputation in high school.
Now, her early marriage to Preston has produced the school's top graduate this year in Grover. This proving herself plus a lot of smoking in the commumnity has sent Marilyn back to smoking.
Grover goes with Ellen, a senior on the softball team, and his brother is going with Cassie, older sister of Lacy.
Laine, the oldest sister in the family behind us, and Cassie go to their old school. In this town, Laine has found the welcome arms of Ellen's brother Hank. The girls are in high school. They come here for the weekend.
Cassie went out with Grover's little brother George over the weekend. Cassie, seemed to emerge a smoker who was allowed by her parents to join Laine just outside the back door.
As for the softball players, Amber, who goes with my son, is not smoking but considering going back. Apparently they will have Kim pitching again. Kim was walking too many people in the last game. Delores, once the regular pitcher, relieved her and let the team hit the ball but good defense and plenty of offense saved the day.
