Sorry to report that Bernadine has not yet made the smoking scene.
Also sorry to report that my little Lisa is becoming a cigarette fiend.
This ends my poetry. We're thinking putting Lisa's smoking on ignore is not a good idea.
That's my problem. I'm not needing to smoke that bad at all. I think Jessica is smoking a little. I may smoke pretty openly on our trip. Hate to rhyme again but Nell says Michelle is out with her son so she needs a cigarette supplier. My old high school and early college buddy said she is getting her habit back. Now she won't smoke until our family gatherings at this great state park.
The girls softball playoff will be at a mutual location. The college is out. So are morning games. First game is Friday at 7. The other is Saturday at 5 p.m. The third game is at 8. Must we wait?
Many are staying in motels. We might. Have no fear, I have a wireless laptop.
For those wondering who Bernadine is, she's the mother of Kelli, the controversial kid who took up smoking after she turned 18. Bernadine has a strange name and hates smoking. Her kids came pretty fast and their names start with K. There's Kelli, Ken, Karin and Karlie. They came every two years. Karin is Jessica's age but goes to a different middle school. Jess does not know her. Lisa says she knows of Karlie and she hears that Karlie does smoke. She should talk or even gossip.
It seems that several of the players on the winning varsity softball team can be seen smoking around town. Laurel, sister of Lisa's friend Laura, is a lead smoker. Darla, the catcher, is apparently the other heavy smoker. I've never seen Laurel's mother smoke. Darla's mother is sort of a game smoker. Neely is the pitcher. They call her big smoke because she supposedly had a cigar.
Neely goes with Cameron who's dad is a bigshot in town. Teresa, once a stress smoker, is never seen smoking these days.
She has no stress. Her daughter goes with this model boy and her son goes with Jessica. Besides, her son ended his freshman year on the varsity baseball team and was winning pitcher in their last game.
Alyson is not new on the team but is starting and really hitting the ball. She does not smoke so she is a good influence that way.
Alyson's mother, Jacquelyn, also does not smoke and has noticed that I have given up smoking. It's something I can't forget.
Hillary got Kelli started smoking. Hillary was seen smoking right after she was eliminated from distance running competition. Kelli, who usually followed her at the races, joined her in smoking, much to the dismay of Bernadine.
