Another recurrent Oldie theme is to have an 11 or 12 yo start smoking by getting cigarettes from a 14-16 yo, only girls of course. The boys in Marble Falls don't smoke. They dip.

We left the boys with my aunt's bf kids and the adults went out to dinner today. My aunt joined me and my mother in smoking. Wade, my aunt's bf, enjoys it when she smokes. She is trying not let herself get hooked. On the way home, the boys reported that Claudia, now 16, let her little sister, only 12, smoke. I told my boys smoking is bad and I wish I had never started.
