Thanks for starting us off Cathy. When I first looked this morning, this board was out of service. Another provider shutdown apparently. Now, it is working. It must have just come back.
Susan, it should be interesting to hear how all the smoking adventures of the people in your locality. We have Lori coming off a big cigar smoking day and Lindsay is still smoking a pipe. What bad girls we have around here. Lindsay, I agree that you might as well tell his family you smoke. You don't want him to stick with his pipe so why spread his news. I'm sure not all agree.
I had my one cigarette today after getting the kids off. I guess that makes me a closet smoker. Like the rest of you, my husband expects me to go one way or the other.
Jessica seems happy with Walt. That relationship comes with not smoking. Neely goes with this boy who appears to have done nothing wrong.
Neely and the softball team was at the came. Neely sat with Cameron but did manage to get off with her friend Darla once. Curiously, Cameron kissed her when she got back and smiled. He must know but tries to stay away from appearing to know anything. Guys are that way.
Darla is Boyd's big sister. They still call her Little Dipper at times. That would be gross. They won easily and Walt got to pitch an inning. I think that was just to get his feet wet.
His mom seemed nervous during the game but did not go off with Darla or even a smoking mom. Smoking did not come up in our conversation. Jess said next year she and Walt would both be on the varsity teams. I was thinking that she was talking about next year when I'm not sure what would happen next week.
We came home and Lisa was still awake. She asked us if we smoked while out. Jess said no such luck. Today, she got a ride with Cameron and Clay. Of course Walt and his big sister were already aboard. So was April, the girl Clay goes with. Clay and Walt are freshmen. Cameron is a senior and Neely a junior. April and Jessica are in the 8th grade and get dropped at middle school first.
The only thing worse than getting a ride to middle school with high school kids is smoking on the way. I'm sure Jess is not doing that. She's convinced I'm not smoking either. Hope all join in to tell about their smoking Wednesday.
