Matt had more than enough to pass David for the win. With all the scanners going and the TV crews listening in, if Matt had been ordered to let David win, it would have been BIG news. Instead Matt WANTED David to win the race and he had every opportunity to pass David and get the win for himself. Instead he held to the deal they made at the start of the race. All it would have taken was Kennseth to push David one time to hard in the wrong spot and David would have been in the wall. Matt did right, David won....end of story....
