Does anyone ever wonder where all the old favorites went? There are MANY people who just don't show up at the track anymore. I've wandered around, talked to a few people and there are a lot of old racers that are "Missing In Action". It's as if they just fell off the the face of the racing world.

I haven't seen or heard about many of them such as Tuffy, Artie & Pam, Wayne Barfield, Jay Poss, HCR, Hootenany, Matt Mitchell, the Selfs, Rat racing, Drawhorn and many, many more! You have to wonder what happened to them. A lot of real good racers who were devoted to being as competitive as possible, would race you hard and didn't always bitch(of course we all fuss a lil') when things didn't go their way. Were all of them victims of the poor economy, have major life changes or decide to pursue something different? Racers tend to be very passionate individuals, why else would they be so uspet over a piece of bent sheetmetal or the loss of a hundred dollars? It's hard to imagine they would just walk away from something they were THAT passionate about.

I know a lot of people have went back to dirt but there are just as many who are unaccounted for, just vanished.

I was just wondering. This place is turning into a snoozer one day and a fussing board another day. I just thought I would discuss something a little more "light hearted".

Any thoughts?
