ออกตัวก่อนนะครับว่าผมไม่ใช้แฟนพันธ์แท้ของ Primal Scream ซักเท่าไร เคยมีอัลบัมของวงนี้ในยุคที่กระแส electronica กำลังเบ่งบาน (ช่วงปลายยุค 90) ผมได้รู้ทำความรู้จักกะวงนี้ก็จากช่วง Vanishing Point นั่นแหละ

ห่างหายจาก Primal Scream ไปเนิ่นนาน กลับมาสะดุดกับงานของพวกเขาอีกครั้งเมื่อสองเดือนที่แล้ว จากเอ็มวี country girl ซิงเกิลแรกจากอัลบัมใหม่ Riot City Blues ...ฟังครั้งแรกอึ้งไปเลย พี่ Bobby Gillepsie ของผม ร้องเพลงสำเนียงร็อครากหญ้า (สำเนียงลูกทุ่งอังกิ๊ด อังกฤษกะเขาก็ได้) เท่าที่ตามข่าว conutry girl ซิงเกิลนี้กลายเป็นเพลงที่ประสบความสำเร็จสูงสุดนับตั้งแต่ primal scream ออกผลงานมา เพราะขึ้นถึง top 5 และค้างอยู่ใน top 10 ได้เป็นเดือน





คนที่เน็ทเร็วๆรับชมเอ็มวี country girl ได้เลยครับ





อัลบัม Riot City Blues วางขายแล้วนะครับ
