Paula, if you're waiting to hear Doo Wop and pre-'64 music on the new CBS-FM, think again. CBS-FM of the 80s and 90s was heavily connected to the heritage of WMCA, WABC, WINS & WMGM. Not this time around. They might drop in a pre-'64 in every hour or two, but it won't be an integral part of the new station. It'll be there as a courtesy. Even 1964-69 will not be featured as heavily. In this version, that's old gold! It won't be focused on the listener who was age 13-19 in 1964.

Very simply, this is not Joe McCoy's CBS-FM. If you want Doo Wop and pre-'64, the best place is satellite or the internet. As Walter Cronkite used to say, "That's the way it is!"
